the only port that I still have running is the 3.1Gen2 port. (the usb ports aren't recognised in windows10 or in the BIOS). in Device Manager, ASMedia USB Root Hub drivers are installed and up to date. ASMedia USB 3.1 eXtensible Host Controller drivers are installed and up to date (disabling this stops the single USB3.1 port from working)
Thanks for the replay, I already did install new windows. the problem seems to be with windows 10 cause I plug my External Hard Drive USB 3.0 it was responding either. when I plugged USB 2.0 with the same hard disk it starts working on both laptops. although all drivers are up to date. but ports for USB 3.0 not working I guess I will wait for windows 10 update to fix this.

Its only the USB port, the ethernet, HDMI etc all work Ive checked device manager, but i cant decipher which are front vs back panel. Im using the MPG Z490 Gaming Plus.
SImply go to this site, follow the prompts there, and send us the resulting .zip file to support@plugable.com. thanks in advance for your assistance! At this point, an USB-wireless optical mouse and keyboard (2-in-1) as well as an external drive are attached to the USB ports.
One cause of faulty USB 3.0 ports is faulty or missing drivers. Fortunately, updating your Windows system with the latest drivers can help reinstall them. Click on the Start button and then
I have an HP 250 g3 laptop. I clean installed windows 10 64bit and the USB ports dont work. In device manager Under Universal Serial Bus Controller it shows -Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible host controller - 1.0(microsoft) -USB root Hub(xHCI) and wheneever i connect a USB i get -Unknown USB Device(Port
So, months after upgrading to Windows 11, all 3 of my USB ports (2 USB 3.0) (1 USB-C) suddenly stopped working. I've tried the device manager troubleshooting option it didn't work; the 1st or the 15th time. I've tried HP support and that didn't work either. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, reset but nothing works!
If not, the ports might malfunction, which could be why your Acer Predator Helios 300 USB 3.0 ports are not working after the Windows update. The issue isn't the update or a faulty USB device. You can confirm if it's the power supply by doing the following: Unplug the charger; Disconnect USB device; Restart your laptop; Connect the USB device
